March 2, 2018 | 12 p.m. | Kerwin Hall 301

The workshop will bring together scholars from around the US and abroad conducting new research into the diverse nature of rebel political institutions and the relationship between rebel organizations and the citizens they represent/control. Our featured researchers include Zachary Mampilly (Vasser College), Reyko Huang (Texas A&M), Michael Weintrab (University of the Andes) and Bridget Coggins (University of California,Santa Barbara).

Our goal for the workshop is to inspire conversation about the nature, dynamics, and challenges surrounding governance by rebel groups, and, in doing so, help to shape the emerging research agenda and policy debates on these topics.
