Thank you for applying to participate in the 14th annual School of Public Affairs Undergraduate Research Symposium, which will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in Kerwin Hall. Please complete the registration form by Friday March 18, 2022.

Please be aware that the symposium uses the term “research” to include creative and performance work as well as formal research. The symposium is open to all levels of undergraduate students, from First Years to Seniors. To enter, you only need to be a student at American University who has a major in the School of Public Affairs or who is enrolled in a course in the School of Public Affairs. Students from CAS, KSB, SIS, SOE and SOC are welcome to present their work if it was done for an SPA course.

Entries will be acknowledged via your AU e-mail upon submission. Note that applications submitted without a project description will not be considered for the symposium. Your project will be accepted or denied based on the project’s description. Paper presentations will be grouped together into sessions of three to five students each based on topic. If you worked with a group of students, you only need to submit one proposal for your entire group.
